Benton County Fire-Rescue #6 (BCFD6) is an “all hazard” fire and EMS response agency. BCFD6 is a full-service fire district with career and volunteer firefighters. Its mission is to provide the highest level of service to its community through prevention, education, and response. BCFD6 offers a variety of services including fire suppression, emergency medical services, Hazardous Materials response, and technical rescue for their residents and community.


The department protects and covers rural land from 3 fire stations (Paterson, Plymouth, and Sunheaven), spanning 270 square miles. With two ambulances service, the response area encompasses approximately 370 square miles in two counties. More than half of the total calls for service are medical-related.
